A violent fire broke out on the night of March 23 to 24 at the Port of Lomé. The disaster particularly affected an abandoned store of the Togolese Revenue Office (OTR).

According to the official portal republiquetogolaise.com, thanks to the rapid intervention of firefighters on the site, the fire was neutralized in less than two hours. No injuries were reported, the Ministry of Maritime Economy said on Sunday.

During the night of March 23 to 24, a fire broke out at @portdelome, affecting the abandoned store of the Togolese Revenue Office. The rapid and effective intervention of the firefighters made it possible to neutralize the danger in less than 2 hours without any injuries being reported.

This fire comes less than two weeks after that of the ship Déborah, which also required the joint intervention of the Maritime Prefecture and the firefighters
