Six people were discovered in a container in the port of Pays de Waes, a section of the port of Antwerp, the East Flanders public prosecutor’s office said on Tuesday.
It regularly happens that some of them hide for days in containers in order to enter the port without being detected. According to the prosecution, their presence is undoubtedly linked to an attempt to import narcotics. The six men will be presented to the Dendermond investigating judge on Tuesday.
