They are stamping with impatience, Manon and Julie. At 24, the two artists end a three-week artistic residency in Néons-sur-Creuse, the time to build a spectacle “en circuit court“, on a very original idea.

The two young women surveyed the Brenne for several weeks, being hosted at random encounters. “We left Saint-Benoit-du-Sault and went to Tournon-Saint-Martin. We were knocked at the locals, at random, to be accommodated every evening” they say. From these meetings were born Portraits of Brennous. “It’s always benevolent and non-judgmental. It’s about us too, about our journeys“. And what paths…

Manon is an artist, originally from Switzerland. And this is already his second opus. She had produced a similar show born of her encounters with inhabitants of northern Berry and Sologne. This time, she embarked Julie, met on the first journey. The young architect, very handy” and jack-of-all-trades, also wanted to live the experience and started alongside Manon. Portraits to bear witness to a local heritage rich in personalities.
