Most of you will have noticed that the rain decided to stop this Wednesday morning. And this is good news for residents of rivers and in particular those of the Vierre and the Semois.
If the level of the Vierre and its tributaries increased slightly last night, the pre-alert rivers are now in the stabilization phase. The hydrometry services of the Walloon Public Service, however, specify that the levels are currently above the pre-alert thresholds.
But now, the favorable weather conditions forecast for Wednesday should lead to normalization while awaiting further precipitation forecast for Thursday.
