Deputy Prime Minister Choo Kyung-ho predicted that the inflation rate would reach 6% this summer.

Onions cost about 3,300 won per 1.8 kg a month ago, now they are close to 5,000 won.
From vegetables to fruits, such as potatoes and radishes, it is difficult to find items that have not risen in price.

Eight days ago, both gasoline and diesel prices at this gas station did not exceed 2,100 won.

Jaehwan Lee, who has to commute 100km round trip every day, sighs every time he puts in oil.

The consumer price inflation rate in May was 5.4%, and the government forecasted it to be around 6% in the second half of the year due to rising raw material prices.
