PR Sreejesh wins Manorama Sports Star 2020-21 Award for Best Athlete in Kerala Volleyball player S Surya secured the second position and footballer KV Athulya secured the third position. Thiruvananthapuram Thiruvallam Young Men’s Association was selected as the best club. Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand announced the winners and presented the awards.

Thrissur Parapur Football Club won the second place and Palakkad Edathanattukara Challengers Sports Club won the third place. The dance performance on the chessboard at the Sports Awards was changed. The awards ceremony started with the music pieces composed by Rajesh Cherthala.
