Miami | Prisoner seeks release from prison because she is pregnant. A woman in prison in Florida has reached out to authorities, claiming her unborn child is innocent and being held ‘unlawfully’.
Pregnant Natalia Harrell, 24, is in prison for shooting and killing another woman in Miami last July. A gun was found in Harrell’s purse.
The woman’s argument is that the fetus has committed no crime and still has to remain in prison. She also says that she is not getting adequate medical care just because she is pregnant. Therefore, they want to come out as soon as possible.
