Tottenham strikes again shortly before the end of the winter transfer period, bringing Sporting star Pedro Porro (23) from Lisbon to London.
“I’m grateful to Sporting, I love the club. I didn’t train anymore because I was focused on the transfer to Spurs, but I’ll always be grateful to the club,” Porro confirmed his move on Tuesday.
Tottenham will pay Porro’s €45m release clause and hand the right-back a contract until 2028. So far so good.
The explosive thing about the transfer of millions: Porro follows Portugal star Joao Felix (23) to the English capital just three weeks later. Felix was recently loaned to Chelsea from Atlético Madrid.
