Frauke Finsterwalder’s “Sisi & Me” is a wild reinterpretation, a social satire and definitely not your usual “Sisi kitsch”. The focus is on the relationship between Irma and the Empress, which is wonderfully complicated and somehow also a refreshing change. At the premiere in Vienna, the cast reveals whether such friendships can work and how much feminism is in Elisabeth.
