The Urban Communities Authority, in cooperation with the Housing and Development Bank, will complete the application procedures for premium housing apartments in New Obour City and New Assiut, tomorrow, Thursday, January 11, 2024, when the serious reservation amount will be paid at the Housing and Development Bank.
According to the latest statistics, distinguished housing with a modern nature includes 1,080 housing units in New Obour, for which 33,121 citizens applied, while 6,326 paid serious deposits. 80 housing units were offered in the “Future Housing” project in New Assiut City, for which 5,803 citizens applied, while 654 paid serious amounts. Prices and installments are as follows:
1- New Obour City
New Obour City includes apartments with areas of 89 and 92 square meters, at a price of 7,245 pounds per meter, with a down payment of 60,000 pounds.
The 90-meter apartment was recorded at 684,000 pounds. A 60,000-pound reservation is paid, then the 20% reservation advance is completed, where 87,000 pounds are paid, and then at the time of the contract, 68,000 pounds are paid.
Therefore, the applicant has paid 30% of the apartment price, leaving 70% to be paid over 3 to 7 years. The quarterly installment, if paid over 3 years, will be 58 thousand pounds, and if paid over 5 years, it will be 42 thousand pounds, and over 7 years, it will be 35 thousand pounds.
2- New Assiut City:
In the city of New Assiut, the area is 63 square meters, which is a unified area for all units. The price per square meter was 6520 pounds, with the value of the unit reaching 410 thousand pounds, and the seriousness of the reservation is 50 thousand pounds.
After the allocation, the serious reservation advance of 20% is completed, where 38 thousand pounds are paid, then at the time of receipt, 41 thousand pounds are paid.
Thus, the applicant has paid 30% of the apartment price, leaving 70% to be paid over 3 to 7 years. The quarterly installment, if paid over 3 years, will be 35 thousand pounds, and if paid over 5 years, it will be 25 thousand pounds, and over 7 years, it will be 21 thousand pounds.
