French company Delage presented its new product, the D12 hybrid supercar. The manufacturer claims that this is the world’s fastest car for public roads.

The design of the car is similar to the Formula 1 car. The D12 model has a 7.6 liter V12 engine. Power – 976 horsepower at 8,200 rpm. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds.

There will also be an electric version of the D12. She will receive an engine with a capacity of 1,100 horsepower (820 kilowatts). The novelty weighs 1.4 tons.

The disadvantage is that there are only two seats for the driver and passenger in the car, located one behind the other. Ride friends on such a “baby” will not work. A total of 30 exclusive models will be released.

The cost of V12 is $2.3 million (138 million rubles). Delage reports that production of trial copies has already begun, but does not indicate the timing of the start of sales.
