In order to limit logistics costs, fruits dedicated to industrial juices (orange, mango, etc.) are dehydrated then rehydrated before packaging. They then lose a large part of their vitamins and trace elements as well as the fibers contained in the pulp which promote satiety. By using a citrus press, a blender or a juice extractor (cold pressing) yourself, you preserve all these essential elements for the proper functioning of the body. Plus, you don’t add unnecessary sugar. By keeping the pulp, you can then help yourself to a glass of squeezed orange juice, grapefruit, mango, apple, pear, watermelon… If the fruit is organic, it’s even better, because, washed well, you can grind with the skin until it is fine and digestible (it contains 95% of the vitamin C of an apple). Don’t hesitate to mix fruits and add vegetables (carrot, spinach, etc.) to vary the pleasures! In any case, just one glass of juice per day is enough.
