President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, stated that the call witnessed the Turkish President congratulating President Sisi on his re-election for a new presidential term.
For his part, President Sisi appreciated this kind gesture from President Erdogan. The call also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and increase areas of cooperation to achieve the interests of the two peoples, in addition to discussing developments in the regional scene, especially ceasefire efforts and the implementation of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip. .
