Abinader plans to travel to Cuba this Friday

SANTO DOMINGO, September 14.- The president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, will travel this Friday to Havana, Cuba, to attend the Meeting of the Group of 77 and China, which will take place on this Caribbean island.

He plans to arrive in the morning through the José Martí airport.

At 11:30 in the morning, he will give a speech to the assembly, which will take place at the International Conference Center in Havana.

Traveling with the president will be the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez; Administrative of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza and of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Franklin García Fermin. Ambassador Flavio Rondòn will join them in Havana.

The Dominican president plans to return to the Dominican Republic in the afternoon.

TRIP TO THE UN

Next Sunday afternoon, President Abinader plans to travel to New York to participate in the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), where on Wednesday the 20th he will give a speech. He will return to the country on Friday the 22nd after exhausting an agenda that includes regions with other leaders, executives and officials of international organizations.
