Recently, the United States Senator for the state of Arkansas, Tom Cotton, visited El Salvador to experience first-hand the transformation that the country is experiencing under the management of President Nayib Bukele.
Regarding his visit, Cotton said: “Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele has brought stability to El Salvador by cracking down on violent gang crime. This is also good for the United States, and President Biden should support Salvadorans instead of turning his back on them.
In addition, the US senator praised the Salvadoran President, calling him a “strong leader who works for the well-being of his people.” It should be noted that under the current Government, El Salvador has become an international benchmark in terms of security, after going from being one of the most violent countries to one of the safest on the American continent.
