SANTO DOMINGO.- President Luis Abinader will address the nation this Sunday, September 17.
The Presidency of the Republic reported that the speech will be at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast by a network of radio stations and television channels.
The president’s speech comes amid tensions with Hiatí over the construction of a canal that would divert waters from the Masacre River, which divides both nations, into Haitian territory.
