EL NUEVO DIARIO, NEW YORK.- President Luis Abinader has confirmed his attendance at the “Manhattan Dominican Parade”, to be held next Sunday the 13th, but first he will attend the “Dinner-Gala”; and the traditional breakfast of congressman Adriano Espaillat, which he offers before the start of the event, among other activities, stated the Dominican consul in this city, Eligio Jáquez.
It will also recognize several Dominicans in Upper Manhattan next Saturday for their valuable services in favor of the community in the city.
Jáquez has been in the DR for about a week, apparently putting the final touches on the president’s arrival in NYC; Last Friday the first advanced arrived and for this Monday the second. The president will arrive this Friday.
When questioned, the consul maintained that the new benefits that the president could give to the community are coming little by little, but they are coming.
«We have just received a list of 56 pensioners who do not have political parties; We have received several certificates of final property title, the government is present in the Dominican community,” he specified.
