The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, ordered to accelerate the transfer of assets, warehouses and furniture to the Communal Councils and popular power.

“Leal Minister Tellería, it is an order that I give you, the transfer of economic power so that they (popular power) create popular distribution systems, their popular supplies, in a new stage,” he launched.

The announcement was made in the middle of a productive Wednesday day, in which he was present from a commune of El Valle in Caracas as part of the “communal engine.”

He recalled that in the so-called Cadivi era, it invested approximately 7 billion dollars per month to supply imported products.

After the sanctions, “we went from income of 400 billion dollars to zero (…) we gave birth and created the – Local Supply and Production Committees (Clap) to bring food to the people, we resist, create and get ahead (…) Now we must produce with the people”, he stressed.

President Maduro instructed to move towards the democratization of the Communes and Communal Councils within the framework of the 3R.Nets and, in this sense, Mercal’s assets, located on the street 1 of the El Valle parish in the city of Caracas.

“Approved and that the minister, colleague and vice president of economy, Tareck El Aissami, come immediately and make me this plan for productive industrial development; move from resistance to emancipation,” Maduro said.

To date, Venezuela has 49 thousand 178 Communal Councils, of which 40 thousand 640 are already productively organized. Likewise, 3,640 communes have been registered throughout the country.

“These are convincing data that the communal, socialist revolution of the 21st century enjoys good communal health, itches and spreads. We continue with the flag of Chávez alive, waving, healthy and strong”, he highlighted.

In this sense, the Dignitary ordered to support these organizations with logistics, supplies and financing. “There is the Bicentennial Bank, which has to be, as it has been defined, the Bicentennial Bank of the Communes, to finance the projects,” he pointed out.
