Presumed killers of a motorcycle taxi driver presented in Menongue – Jornal OPaís

Two young people aged 18 and 20, alleged perpetrators of the death, on the 21st of this month, in Menongue, capital of Cuando Cubango, of a 28-year-old motorcycle taxi driver, were presented yesterday, Monday, to the press, by the National Police .

Speaking to the press, the spokesman for the National Police command in Cuando Cubango, chief superintendent Augusto Tomás, said that the criminals convinced the victim, who was carrying out his profession, to transport them to a mine, with the payment of two thousand kwanzas.

Along the way, he explained, one of them pretended to be in minor need, to strike the unfortunate man several times with a knife and hammer on the head, causing immediate death.

Even today, other citizens involved in various crimes were presented, such as arson, fraud, robbery and theft of medium voltage electrical cables.
