In medicine, this is called pernicious anemia. It lies in B12 deficiency at the cellular level. Tingling and numbness are signs that nerve endings are damaged. The condition can reach the point where a person is so out of control of his balance that he cannot even move around the room.

You can prevent the condition or correct it at the first signs by including more cheeses and natural yogurt, various meats and fish, and eggs in your diet. Also avoid stress.
