On October 16, 2023, Prof. Dr. Teerawat Hemachutha, head of the Emerging Disease Health Science Center Faculty of Medicine Chulalongkorn Hospital Posted a message on Facebook that he was constipated, unable to poop, had dementia.

Tracking people who were constipated for three days or more found that brain deterioration accelerated. This is equivalent to 3.0 years more of cognitive aging. People who take it twice a day have a slightly increased risk (Poop less brain loss).
