Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Amir Faisal bin Farhan expressed his protest against the repeated attempts to desecrate the Quran and asked Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström in a phone conversation to take strict action against such activities. There have been widespread protests as extremists burn copies of the Quran and recite it outside embassies of Muslim-majority countries and mosques in Sweden and Denmark.
