The Municipality of Saint-Simon-de-Rimouski informed the population, on August 28, that a boil water advisory was issued for its entire territory, for the next 24 hours.
This preventive measure is necessary following work on the drinking water distribution system.
It is recommended by the Municipality to consume only bottled water until further notice. The use of boiled water is recommended for preparing food and brushing teeth. Other uses of drinking water are not subject to this notice. In case of brown or cloudy water, it is recommended to run the water several minutes until it becomes clear before boiling it.
A notice allowing the consumption of tap water once more will be issued upon receipt of the next analyzes confirming a
