Meanwhile…. the count still does not make good friends with those present and, on this occasion, attacks María Fernández as a result of her broken engagement with Antonio de Carvajal y Cifuentes. She, on her side, tries to encourage Lope to be honest with Vera, but he does not take the step and this causes her to distance herself further and further from him.

Chapter 302 of Monday, February 26

Cruz insults Jana in front of her husband and, when Alonso discovers that he has truly left Curro alone, he becomes angry and decides to take action against the maid. María Fernández deduces that Jana is in Ramona’s cabin, but, no matter how much she tries to sneak away discreetly to go look for her, Pía prevents her from doing so. Finally, Manuel helps her. Pelayo and Catalina ask permission to travel to a spa and, although Alonso is not amused, Cruz agrees, as long as they take Vera as chaperone.

Manuel returns frustrated for having placed second in the Herzog Staackman Cup and drinks it with his parents and Abel, although a discovery will change his mood. Lope, encouraged by Salvador, decides to talk to Vera, but he screws up again. Ayala asks Cruz to have Petra be her secretary and, when Jana finally returns to the palace, she is in for an unpleasant surprise.
