Jeddah: It is reported that the prices of 95 products and services have increased in Saudi Arabia last month. The prices of 73 products and services also decreased. This is explained in a report released by the General Authority for Statistics.
The figures were shared as of October last year. Prices of Egyptian oranges have fallen by 36.47 per cent, Al Safi yogurt by 33.33 per cent and locally produced medium potatoes and green beans by over 21 per cent. Among construction materials, 11 items increased in price, while 27 items decreased in price. In the textile sector, prices of eight out of 10 items increased. Deficiency was recorded for two. Three out of four personal goods and services rose in price, while one fell. Last month saw an increase in the prices of all detergent products. The report released by the General Authority for Statistics shows that while the prices of many items of daily use goods and services have increased, the prices of some items have decreased.
