Price of water, consultation with the doctor, leave of ‘co-parent’… Everything that changes this January 1

The price of the stamp will increase by approximately 15% on January 1st. More specifically, the price of the non-prior stamp increases by 16.8% to reach the unit price of 1.39 euros, while the prior stamp increases by 14.8% compared to 2022, to reach 2.17 euros.

Compared to 2019, when the 0.95 euro non-prior stamp was introduced, the price has already increased by almost half (46.3%). As for the price of the prior stamp, it has tripled in value since 2017. International shipments are also experiencing tariff increases in 2023 of up to 21%, as are some national parcels. Thus, the cheapest parcel (0 to 2 kilos) increases by 14.6%, going from a unit price of 4.4 to 5.04 euros. National registered mail is now 12.2% more expensive, going from 7.53 euros in 2022 to 8.45 euros from 1 January.
