Private clinics denounce a “total inconsistency”, confiding that the patient who paid 50,000 CFA francs per day for the single room will have to pay an additional 5,000 CFA francs, with the new taxation. The tax administration considers “that some of the clinics offered quite luxurious services as if we were in a hotel”. And that many clinics risk suffering a tax adjustment.
