Prime Minister Han Deok-soo said, “If you arrive from China by the end of February next year, you will be required to undergo a COVID-19 test before and after entry.”

Prime Minister Han said at a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters for Corona 19 presided over at the Seoul Government Complex, “The government inevitably strengthens some quarantine measures to prevent domestic spread due to the worsening situation in China.”

He added, “Only when negative is confirmed through a PCR test within 48 hours or a rapid antigen test within 24 hours prior to entry, boarding a domestic flight is possible.” I will block it,” he added.

However, it also announced that it will allow exceptional measures for Koreans who need to enter the country for urgent reasons.

“We will limit the issuance of short-term visas until the end of next month, except for diplomatic and official affairs, essential companies, and humanitarian reasons,” Han said.

“We will temporarily suspend additional flights from China, and unify flights from China to arrive at Incheon Airport for efficient quarantine management of inbound travelers,” it said.
