Consent and understanding are necessary for a peaceful life in our common home – Smailov. Prime Minister of the country Alikhan Smailov congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the Day of Unity of the People, BaigeNews.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“This is a holiday of harmony and understanding, which are so necessary for a peaceful life in our common home. It reflects such centuries-old traditions as openness, tolerance, hospitality. These values have shaped the spirit of our united people for thousands of years,” the prime minister said.
Alikhan Smailov also stressed that today Kazakhstanis of various nationalities and religions live side by side in the vast expanses of a common country.
“They study, work, raise children. Each of these peoples is unique, but together we are a single friendly people of Kazakhstan! Therefore, our task for future generations is to do everything to preserve and increase this invaluable heritage of our ancestors. Thanks to unity, today we have stability and harmony. The course proposed by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is aimed at strengthening interethnic respect and harmony. On this bright holiday, I wish everyone health, success, well-being and prosperity!”
Earlier, the President congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the holiday of unity. The head of state noted that the progressive progress of the country depends on the success of the ongoing reforms.
Recall, according to statistics, representatives of 124 different nationalities live in Kazakhstan.
