On the afternoon of January 26 (the 5th of the Lunar New Year), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected and urged the Nha Trang – Cam Lam project under the East North – South expressway project phase 1; visited and wished Tet to officials and employees participating in the project.
The Nha Trang – Cam Lam component expressway project is more than 49 km long, passing through Dien Khanh, Cam Lam and Cam Ranh City (Khanh Hoa). This is one of three investment projects in the form of PPP with a construction period of two years and a payback period of about 16 years and four months.

According to the report, up to now, the ground clearance work of Nha Trang – Cam Lam project has handed over 49/49.1 km, reaching 99.8%. The output of construction and installation bidding packages from the beginning to date is about 2,786/4,345 billion VND (reaching 64.1% of the contract value).

On the construction site, the Prime Minister praised the agencies, units, staffs and workers who have worked with the spirit of “through Tet”.

In particular, at the Doc San tunnel, the Prime Minister recalled that a year ago, during a business trip across Vietnam and during Tet, the contractor had just started digging through the mountain with many difficulties and challenges, so far the tunnel has been cleared. The Prime Minister was pleased, highly appreciated this effort and result, noted that businesses “say they do” and do effectively, the project is implemented quickly.
The Prime Minister wished businesses to develop more and more in the direction of high technology, becoming a large corporation, doing profitable business in the spirit of harmonizing benefits and sharing risks between the State, businesses and people.
