Primož Roglič defines if he will defend his triplet in the Vuelta a España – International Cycling

By @FXavierVidela

The Slovenian from the Jumbo-Visma left the Tour de France with two fractured vertebrae and, at first, it was indicated that he would miss the Vuelta a España. But during this last time the recovery of ‘Rogla’ was analyzed and there is still hope that he will participate.

So far there are no certainties about the presence of Primoz next Friday August 19 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Winner of the last three editions, he is undoubtedly the great figure of the Hispanic round, which will not have Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) or Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates), 1st and 2nd, respectively, from the past Tour de France.

“After the weekend we will make a decision. It depends on his recovery.”, they said from Jumbo-Visma to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Undoubtedly, even if he does not start 100% in his form, it would be great news -as well as a surprise- to have him present at the Vuelta, seeking, why not, to achieve his fourth crown.
