It has been announced that Prince Akishino and his wife will be visiting Kagoshima on October 27th and 28th.
He will attend the opening ceremony of the National Sports Tournament for People with Disabilities to be held in Kagoshima City on the 28th, and is scheduled to observe a basketball competition being held in Aira City and a child development support center in Isa City.
Prince Akishino’s visit to Kagoshima follows the National High School Comprehensive Cultural Festival in July, and it is the first time in four years that the two have visited together since the 2019 High School Comprehensive Sports Festival.
