Prince Harry reveals he killed 25 Taliban while serving in Afghanistan

During a business trip to the south of Afghanistan in 2012-2013, the Duke of Sussex Harry killed 25 members of the Taliban terrorist movement (banned in Russia). A member of the British royal family spoke about this in his memoir Spare (“Spare”).

“I set myself a goal from the first day (business trips.— “uh”) never go to bed with any doubt as to whether I did the right thing… whether I shot at the Taliban and only the Taliban, with no civilians nearby. I wanted to return to the UK with all my limbs, but even more I wanted to return home with an intact conscience, ”Prince Harry wrote in his book, an excerpt from the Spanish edition of which leads The Telegraph.

The grandson of Elizabeth II admitted that the number of 25 Taliban killed does not bother him, but he “does not satisfy” either. He viewed the members of the terrorist organization as “villains” who needed to be eliminated before they could kill the “good guys”. The Duke of Sussex considers the Taliban to be “enemies of humanity” responsible for one of the worst crimes in history.

In 2006, Prince Harry graduated from the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, and in 2008 he secretly fought in the Afghan province of Helmand for 10 weeks. He also took part in combat operations in Afghanistan from September 2012 to January 2013. Then, as I wrote The Guardianhe admitted to killing insurgents from an Apache attack helicopter.
