The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will leave the English capital to settle in the countryside.

Prince William should leave London this summer to settle with his wife and children in the county of Berkshire, 80 km west of the British capital, reports Sunday the Sunday Times. The prince, who will soon celebrate his fortieth birthday, currently resides with his wife Kate and their three children George, Charlotte and Louis at Kensington Palace. However, they will move this summer to a property in Windsor.

For the sake of the children

The purpose of this move is “to give more freedom to children”, according to the Sunday newspaper. However, the information has not been officially confirmed.

Consequence of this move: the prince’s children, George and Charlotte, will also change schools.

By settling in the countryside, children will be able to “go to the park or play with friends”, continues the newspaper, quoting a friend of the family. Prince William and Kate will nevertheless keep Kensington Palace for themselves. Their press service will remain established there.
