If the ex-wife of King Charles III was still around, she would be 61 years old by now. A photographer in Turkey named Alper Yesiltas, conducted a photography project using artificial intelligence or AI, to recreate the current faces of famous people who have passed away.
Called ‘As If Nothing Happened’, the project relies on a variety of AI software and photo editing programs to create realistic images of the appearance of famous dead figures.

“Behind this project is about how people would look in a realistic photo, if major events didn’t happen to them,” wrote Alper.
“The hardest part of this creative process is to make me feel the photo is real. The moment I like the most is when I think that the photo in front of me looks very realistic like when it was taken by the photographer,” he added, as quoted by detikINET from the Daily Mail, Thursday (22/22/2020). 9/2022).

Most of the celebrities featured are those who died at a young age, often due to tragic incidents. Besides Princess Diana, there are Freddie Mercury, John Lennon, Bruce Lee to Michael Jackson.
The photos did look realistic, as if they were all still alive. Currently, the photographer has made 10 photos and will continue.
However, there are also netizens who think the photo is not very suitable. For example photo Princess Diana considered too old and Freddie Mercury too young at his age.
