Prioritize assistance to victims and affected by the rains in Ñeembucú

Asunción, IP Agency.- Health care – which includes medical service with delivery of medicines – is provided to those affected by the floods, in areas of the department of Ñeembucú.

It is through an articulated work between the National Emergency Secretariat (SEN), the Government of Ñeembucú and other state institutions.

The director of the Health Region, Dr. Jorge Arnaldo Espínola, leads the assistance teams, with reinforcements of the stock of antivenom serums and medications in the pharmacies of the affected districts.

Dr. Espínola traveled to the affected districts since Monday and held meetings with authorities and residents of Guazucúa and Tacuaras.

Within this framework, close monitoring and activities are carried out in order to provide effective assistance that contributes to preventing all health problems associated with the storm that affects the area causing flooding, reported the director of the Health Region, Jorge Arnaldo. Spinola.
