Priska Nufer wins the second descent of Crans Montana

The day following Ester Ledecka’s victory, Crans Montana’s second downhill was won by Priska Nufer on Sunday. At 30, the Swiss has signed the first victory of her career in the World Cup. The day before, she had placed fourth, her first Top 5 on the circuit. Starting with bib number 2, Nufer was ahead of Ledecka by only 11 hundredths, and the Italian Sofia Goggia (+ 0”23).

Slovak Petra Vlhova, recent Olympic slalom champion, took 16th place. This result allows him to join Mikaela Shiffrin at the top of the general classification of the World Cup.
