A two-engine Hawker H25B aircraft allegedly began moving without obtaining permission from the control tower before colliding with a two-engine Cessna aircraft, reports the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). ).

The wings of the two machines would have touched each other and numerous debris would have been deposited on the ground, causing the closure of the landing strip.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. and the airport was only able to resume operations around 8 p.m., while the debris was cleaned up.

No injuries have been reported in connection with this incident which is still the subject of an investigation by the FAA to determine in particular the reasons which pushed the first aircraft to move on the ground without having obtained authorization.
