Private jets to Spielberg cause as much CO2 as 116,000 train passengers – Future Edition

Around 300,000 visitors are expected to attend the Formula 1 weekend surrounding the Spielberg Grand Prix this year. Only a few of them will travel by private jet – but those who do will cause the same amount of greenhouse gas emissions as 116,000 rail passengers. The environmental organization Greenpeace came to this number.
