Privatization of Al-Shabab, Al-Itifaq, and Al-Fateh Clubs: Stadiums and Sports Facilities Completion

Al-Shabab, Al-Itifaq and Al-Fateh clubs are heading towards the privatization stage, in conjunction with the completion of their stadiums and sports facilities.

It is also expected to announce stc’s acquisition of one of these clubs during the coming period.

Earlier, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, Minister of Sports, announced the dissolution of the boards of directors of the clubs that announced their privatization and transfer of ownership to Saudi companies, provided that a general assembly is held to select the clubs that represent the non-profit institution, where a president and a member of this association will be chosen to preside. The company that owns the club and five members are nominated by the Public Investment Fund to manage it.
