Pro-Palestinian Protests at Teatro alla Scala: Christmas Concert Controversy

Rome: Pro-Palestinian protest during the Christmas concert at the world-famous Opera House in Milan, Italy.

The protest took place during a rehearsal ahead of Daniel Harding’s Christmas concert on December 23 at the famous Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

A video of the protest circulating on social media shows protesters chanting slogans and waving Palestinian flags. A huge banner hung from the gallery also read ‘Stop the bombing of Gaza’.

Earlier, there were protests at the Teatro alla Scala. On December 7, a protest was held from the top floor of the theater with slogans such as ‘Say no to fascism’ and ‘Long live anti-fascist Italy’.

Protests are also held here where women attend events wearing red shoes and shake keys to protest once morest attacks on women.

At the same time, various types of protests were held in many parts of the world in solidarity with the Palestinian people during the Christmas celebrations.

An announcement was made at a mall in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, calling for a boycott of brands associated with Israel, and distribution of Christmas cards inscribed with the names of Gazan children killed in Israeli attacks.
