A man in Tokyo has filed a lawsuit in Osaka City and Osaka Prefecture over the disclosure of information on integrated resorts = IR, including casinos.

According to the complaint, a man living in Tokyo requested disclosure of documents submitted by the business operator to Osaka City in February regarding the IR aiming to open in Yumeshima, Osaka.

In response, the city of Osaka has issued a non-disclosure decision on the grounds of “risk of harming the legitimate interests of business operators” and “risk of unreasonably impairing the neutrality of decision-making by government agencies.”

The man also requested information disclosure to Osaka Prefecture, but the documents related to the business operator were not disclosed.

On the 30th, the man filed a lawsuit requesting the disclosure of information from Osaka City and Osaka Prefecture, saying, “It is possible to respond by blackening only confidential information.”

The person in charge of Osaka City said, “I haven’t received the complaint, so I don’t know the contents.”
