In fact, some bags may contain what we call “metallic foreign bodies”.
Which brands are affected?
On the site consumer reminderthe government site for recalling dangerous products, several “distributor” brands are subject to product recall.
This is the case for the 42g tomato balls from Casino. The batches concerned are as follows:
lot 3222477002234 – Date of minimum durability 04/12/2024 lot 3222477002234 – Date of minimum durability 04/26/2024
The sachets were sold from October 16 to November 8 throughout France in Casino, Vival and Spar stores.
Also affected are packages of 50g tomato balls from Leader Price.
The lot in question is 3263853197410 with a minimum durability date of 04/26/2024. It was sold between October 26 and November 8, 2023 in Leader Price and Franprix stores throughout France.

A third product is recalled: organic tomato balls from Biocoop.
The 60 g sachets carry this reference: 3760020822057 – 291 AS – Minimum durability date 04/19/2024.
They were also marketed throughout France.
Several flavors recalled at super U
U stores are also affected by this product recall but on a larger scale since several flavors of aperitif biscuits are recalled.
This is the case for tomato balls but also for aperitif snacks with pea curry flavor and pea cream onion flavor.
