Dr. Mabrouk Salem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Population in Matrouh, said that scientific, medical and religious awareness seminars were held in coordination with the Endowments Directorate on reproductive health, which were implemented for citizens after Friday prayers in the governorate’s mosques.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Population in Matrouh explained that providing seminars to mosque-goers, following Friday prayers, comes within the national strategy for population, health and development, as some medical instructions, health messages, and scientific advice were provided regarding providing a healthy, safe and dignified life for citizens.

He stressed that awareness seminars discuss health problems that harm the family, such as repeated unregulated pregnancies and early marriage, which makes a girl unable to bear a child psychologically and physically, which causes danger to her life, as well as the fate of children who are born weak and incomplete, resulting in many deformities and disabilities. .

He pointed out that the seminars discuss the parents’ right to a healthy, healthy life, and the importance of the golden thousand days, that is, the first three years of a child’s life, as a period of spacing between one pregnancy and the next.

He pointed out that the stability of the Egyptian family begins with enjoying a good healthy life, which includes a healthy body, mind, and social life, pointing to the relationship between increasing childbearing rates and the problems of poverty, unemployment, and illiteracy.

He stressed the role of awareness, providing educational opportunities, and empowering women in solving these problems, and the right of the child, mother, and father to a decent life.
