The Fatima Bint Mubarak Women’s Sports Academy, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health, organized an awareness lecture at the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, entitled “Health and Sports”, presented by Dr. Aisha Al Dhaheri, Head of the Health Promotion Department at the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health, in the presence of a large number of academy players and their parents. The lecture aims to spread sports awareness, introduce health education and sports culture, and understand the impact of sports and physical activities, and social and health benefits. It also targeted the practices of sports activities and sports team players in the community.
The cooperation between the Academy and the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health consolidates the promotion of health culture and spreading awareness, in line with the quality of life and health in Abu Dhabi, the home of world championships. The Academy is keen to organize and host all events, activities, seminars, and workshops that contribute to building a healthy and active lifestyle that promotes instilling the values of sportsmanship and awareness, to serve athletes and members of society.
