Russian journalist Anton Krasovski, who said in October that Ukrainian children should be burned and drowned, will not face any criminal charges, the Russian Investigative Commission has revealed.

The comments made by the presenter on the “Russia Today” channel had caused outrage on social networks, and he had even been dismissed from his position by the editor-in-chief of RT, Margarita Simonian.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation had launched an investigation to determine whether Krassovski had broken the law by calling for the “burning” and “drowning” of Ukrainian children.
Yesterday, the minister responsible for the committee, Alexandre Bastrykine, made his decision via press release.
“I point out that in the appeal in question, there is no evidence of the commission or preparation of crimes against minors or with their participation”, can we read in the judgment.
According to the Independent Network Medusa, the Russian propagandist has still not reacted to the judgment. He had, however, expressed regret a few weeks ago.
“I always wanted to be better than the enemy. My country wanted to be better than the enemy, and I’m an idiot, I confused good with evil, I made a mistake. I don’t know if I can be forgiven. For my part, I will never forgive myself,” he wrote in October on his Telegram account.
