This sale of “entertainment memorabilia” organized by Propstore Auction runs until Friday in Los Angeles and offers online or face-to-face bidding on 1,487 lots from film and series shoots. If prices start at 250 dollars (228 euros) for the smallest lots, the auction could soar up to 2 million dollars (1.8 million euros) for the two largest lots: a dress worn by Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) in the first “Star Wars” and a Batpod, the motorcycle used in two films of the “Batman” saga.
Harry Potter’s outfit and wand for sale
Among the hundreds of lots for sale, unique collector’s items that will delight film fans. Among the nuggets spotted by Le Parisien in the long sales catalogwe find a dress worn by Kate Winslet in “Titanic”, Michael Keaton’s Batman costume in the eponymous 1989 film, several lightsabers from the “Star Wars” saga, a shield from “Captain America” or even a replica life size of the famous DeLorean car from “Back to the future”.
To acquire the vehicle, count at least 100,000 dollars at the time of writing these lines. Two hoverboards seen in the second installment of the film series are also in the catalog.
