On the evening of February 9, the Ministry of Public Security said that on February 8, 2023, the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department of Public Security prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused, and detained 6 former officers of the Traffic Police Team – order of the Chi Linh City Police on the crime of Abuse of position and power while performing official duties.
The incident happened on February 4, 2023 in Chi Linh City (Hai Duong).
The defendants include: Bui Manh Tuan, Nguyen Van Bang, Nguyen Van Tuan, Mac Quoc Phuong, Nguyen Thanh Trung, Truong Manh Dang.
Hai Duong Provincial People’s Procuracy approved the above decisions.
The Hai Duong Provincial Police Department is continuing to investigate the case to strictly handle the organizations and individuals involved in accordance with the Party’s regulations, the law and the Public Security branch.
