Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has warned that messages with links asking for payment of fines should be approached with caution. The authorities issued the warning in the context of receiving widespread messages asking people to pay traffic fines. Ministry of Home Affairs sends alerts and notifications for traffic violations through Sahal application only. Payment should be made only following authenticating the messages. Officials said to be very careful when sharing personal and financial information. The Ministry of Home Affairs also warned to be cautious once morest fake websites in the name of government institutions.
