The blockade has been in progress on rue Belliard, during the morning rush hour, since around 9 a.m. Around ten demonstrators block this artery parallel to Rue de la Loi to show their support for Palestine.
On their placards, slogans: “Stop financing colonization”, “From Brussels to Gaza”, “Resistance”… “Today if we have blocked Brussels, it is because for weeks we have been facing the total inaction and complicity of our governments, despite all the rallies and solidarity demonstrations which have continued to grow throughout Europe,” the organizers indicated in a press release.
Around 9:20 a.m., the police arrived on the scene. Around 9:40 a.m., traffic was able to resume.
